Well after 8 fantastic years from our beautiful home in Cornwall, Itchy Feet have packed up our feet and decided on a move up country!
Our business has grown much from our humble start in the world of American Motorhomes, from our Cornwall home Carvynick, which many of you regular RV owners would have no doubt visited over the years; Itchy Feet has grown in strength to become a leader in the RV and Motorhome industry in the UK.
Itchy Feet have always played a prominent role in actively campaigning for our industry and consumers alike to make sure all concerned get a fair and honest deal. As a company we have kept our feet firmly planted on the ground and have always strived in offering our customers good, honest advice that reflects their best interests and helps them to make a much better informed choice.
So why the move?
Over the past 2 years there has seen a big emerging market in the corporate rental of RV’s, Winnebago’s and Motorhomes. Itchy Feet alongside our sister company Rent My Rig formed Winnebago Direct back in 2009 the idea, to team together with companies we respect and can guarantee to match in standard that of Itchy Feet and Rent My Rig. As a result Winnebago Direct is able to supply nationwide and European coverage to Corporates, Motorsport Teams and Event organisers.
The continued growth of Itchy Feet and our rental division Rent My Rig has expanded to the point where we need logistically to be better placed to service our customers in the UK. With the increased cost in fuel and travel it is not fair on our customers to expect to have to travel so far to find the motorhome of their choice, whether rental or sale, our new Superstore will offer the finest range of Motorhomes, RV’s and American Motorhomes all under one roof in a location convenient to all!
